The Naples Italian American Foundation, Inc. offers many diverse activities, including cultural, educational, social, entertainment and many more. Activity suggestions are always welcome.

FEATURING

ITALIAN LANGUAGE LESSONS

 

One of the objectives at the Foundation is to provide Italian language studies at various levels.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

The objective of this mission element is to sponsor various events of importance to the Italian community and the community at-large
1. Italian films with English sub-titles
2. Lectures and Speakers
3. Music Programs
4. Concerts
5. Italian Lessons
6. Art Exhibits and Displays
7. Topical events to include: bocce contests, dinner dances, Italian card games

CIVIC & COMMUNITY EVENTS

 

The Foundation is very involved in the community and sponsors various fund raising and community-wide events.

1. Sponsoring an Annual Charity Golf Tournament
2. Holding Mah Jongg Charity Tournaments
3. Supporting the County's Special Olympics Bocce sports program by providing both facilities and volunteer coaches

FACILITY OPERATIONS & HALL RENTAL

 

Currently the Foundation occupies a 7,000 square foot building with banquet seating up to 200.

Playing Cards
PINOCHLE

Also called pinocle or penuchle, is a trick-taking, Ace-Ten card game typically for two to four players and played with a 48-card deck. It is derived from the card game bezique; players score points by trick-taking and also by forming combinations of cards into melds.  Please check our calendar page for the current schedule.
