INTERMEDIATE ITALIAN CONVERSATION / DISCUSSION

Teacher:  Carla Menza

Mondays: 10:30am 11:30am

This course is designed for people with a reasonable working knowledge of Italian, who wish to improve their comprehension and speaking skills.

It focuses on building conversational skills through the context of everyday situations, such as talking about family, discussing current affairs, etc.  Grammar will be reviewed as appropriate/necessary; however, this is not a grammar class.  This class is devoted to practicing conversation.

Classes will be held for one ten-week session approximately.  The session will last from early January to late March.

Estimated start dates will be January 11th,  2021

There is no charge for members and a charge of $100 for non-members.  There is no refund to a student for missed classes.  (The one exception for a possible reimbursement is when a teacher must leave due to extraordinary personal issues, e.g., leaving for several weeks for health issues.)  If a student non-member takes an additional class, the cost for the additional class is $50 per session.

The start and end dates will be sent via email to members and interested parties in advance.

For some classes there may be a charge for the books that may be used.  The study books are chosen by the teacher; the cost usually doesn’t exceed $20. Homework is at the discretion of the teacher.
