Let's Make A Difference
The Naples Italian American Foundation, Inc. tax id #20-5045417 (NIAF) is a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation. As one of only two Italian American organizations in all of Florida to earn GuideStar’s Platinum Seal, NIAF provides you with numerous opportunities to support our community, ensure our future, and impact your current and future tax liabilities as well. Gifts may be either unrestricted or directed to one of our four funds: NIAF Cares, Cultural Programming, Scholarship and Building Capital Fund. All gifts to these four funds are deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Your support is essential for the ongoing success of NIAF. If you choose, gifts can be directed to any of the funds below in memory of a loved one.

The Naples Italian American Foundation is a nonprofit organization that relies on the generous support of donors like you to continue our work in the community. Your contribution helps us to celebrate, promote, and preserve Italian culture and heritage in Naples and Southwest Florida. NIAF Cares
We care about our community. For over twenty years, we have supported Special Olympics of Collier County Bocce. Last year, we also developed a relationship with the Gulf Coast High School Italian Honor Society. Each year, we support our first responders with an appreciation breakfast over three days. We’ve also supported the Naples Neighborhood Health Clinic and Wounded Veterans Relief.
Help us fund and expand these programs and identify other opportunities to help our community.
Cultural Programming
Help support and expand our Cultural Programming. NIAF provides a wide array of cultural opportunities for our members and our community, including culturally themed dinners and events, an Italian movie series, an Italian topic lecture series, Italian language studies, bocce, and Italian festivals and celebrations of our national holidays.
Your support can help underwrite these programs and allow us to add additional programs, as well as allowing us to invite our junior members without charge.
Building Capital Fund
Our buildings and grounds are a crown jewel. They are our face to the community, and we want them to sparkle. They house our cultural programs, member events and our Special Olympics bocce.
Your donation to this fund will allow us to upgrade and modernize our facilities, beautify our grounds and, with sufficient funding, ultimately create an even larger and more significant complex on our property.
NIAF Scholarship Fund
Help deserving high school students from Collier and Lee counties take that first giant step towards a college education. Your donations can help establish and grow our six initial scholarships:

The NIAF Emerging Leaders Scholarship – to encourage recipients to follow in the footsteps of NIAF’s own early leaders.

The NIAF Memorial Scholarship recalls the memory of all the deceased members of NIAF throughout our history.

The George & Motoko Giunta Scholarship funded by George and Motoko to benefit aspiring students in their initial college experience.

The Carfang Family Scholarship funded by Tony and Carol to celebrate the importance of education in the Italian family.

The Renato Stella Special Olympics Scholarship established in Renato’s memory to help one of our Special Olympians achieve their next level of preparation on their life journey.

The NIAF Special Olympics Scholarship established to help a second Special Olympians achieve their next level of preparation on their life journey.
